If you know me, you probably know these girls too.

Meet Riley, my 19 month old niece, and Mardi my "twin" sister.  (not really, we're 5 years apart)

We like to have kids at the same time.  Riley and my Levi are 2 months apart, and Mardi and I are both currently pregnant, due in March, 10 days apart.  We like making "twin" cousins.

 I got to take some family portraits of our adorable neighbors this week!  

Sarah is such a great neighbor and our kids get along so well.

A couple months ago I got the opportunity to second shoot for Jess Stauffer of J3Designz.

It's a fun change of pace to be the second shooter for a wedding.

1. I get to spend more time with the groom & groomsmen, and this bunch was so much fun, and looked stellar in their tuxedos! (always a plus)

2. It's a lot less pressure!  ;)

3. I get to be the "invisible" photographer and get some candid shots that I might not otherwise be able to capture if everyone was looking at me as the main shooter.

A few weeks ago I got the privilege to spend the weekend in St. Augustine, FL to second shoot a wedding with Alisia Thompson Photography.  I had never been to the historic and charming city.  So it was awesome to explore the colonial downtown with my camera around my neck.
